The Role The

Senior Ecommerce Trading Executive

is an integral role within the

TSE

team, working closely with the Ecommerce Trading Manager and cross functional teams to drive the business forward and deliver growth for thesportsedit.com. Your core responsibilities will focus on site trading, site content, customer journeys and delivering superior user experience across our 3 Shopify stores, plus you will be helping shape and implement our SEO and content strategy. We are looking for someone confident to lead on the daily trading performance of our website and deliver an outstanding onsite customer experience.

About us Founded in 2015, The Sports Edit is building the UK’s leading women’s activewear retailer and was recently acquired by Marks & Spencer Group to help support that vision. We curate a range of brands, from leading brands like Nike, adidas, On Running and Veja, to challenger brands such as Varley, Alo Yoga and Girlfriend Collective.

Core Responsibilities

Trading: Utilise trading tools to identify and optimise site navigation, search and customer journeys across devices Use commercial understanding to analyse and report on key online metrics using Google Analytics and identify opportunities to optimise site performance and conversion across devices Owner of key conversion metrics such as: add to cart rate, UPT, engagement rate and bounce rates Responsible for overall site merchandising, analysing customer behaviour using heat map tools, GA data and manage search and merchandising tool to optimise landing pages Daily site walks to identify site issues across devices and browsers

Site content: Oversee briefing and creation of site assets Working alongside the Ecommerce Trading Executive to optimise key landing pages using the search and merchandising tool and supporting delivery of key campaigns on site Overseeing the product launch schedule working with the Buying and Merchandising teams and Ecommerce assistant to ensure products are prepared to go live on time Work closely with Marketing and Buying and Merchandising teams to align and deliver promotions and key campaigns on site

Tech Stack & Development: Support the Ecommerce Trading Manager in development sprints, running post development testing Work with Ecommerce Trading Manager to monitor and review existing Tech stack to enhance app performance and optimise functionality

SEO: Management of SEO dashboard - weekly and monthly reporting, analysing keyword performance, site speed, site crawls, top organic pages on site Brief actions to internal teams for site changes, development briefs, content briefs Quarterly content strategy to support rankings - keyword research on topic areas, and keyword themes and SEO briefs to content writers.

What you’ll need: Experience managing Shopify or other CMS Strong trading understanding and analytical insight with experience using Google Analytics or similar tools Comfortable using and acting on data to optimise site performance Minimum 2 years experience working in an Ecommerce Executive or Trading role and willing to push your personal professional development to the next level Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities, ability to develop strong trust-based relationships A strong mix of analytical, commercial focus and communication skills with an attention to detail will be pivotal to the role Strong academic background A passion for fitness and wellbeing

Of Advantage Understanding or experience in SEO Knowledge of HTML and basic online content editing, and a technical mindset
