Were passionate about excellence and are now looking for a skilled Car Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. Role Overview: As a Car Technician / Mechanic , youll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and upgrading Caterham road cars, while also supporting our race team both in the workshop and at race events. Youll work closely with the owners and our small, dedicated team to ensure every vehicle is prepared to the highest standard, whether for road use or competitive racing. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Caterham cars. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and performance issues. Assist in the preparation of race cars for race events. Set up suspension geometry for road car use. Be capable of tyre changing / balancing. Assist with logistics if required taking cars to 3 rd party specialists, circuits and events. Ensure accurate work records are maintained. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Car Technician / Mechanic, ideally but not essentially with performance or racing cars. Working knowledge of Caterham cars, or similar high-performance vehicles. Expertise in engine diagnostics. Ability to work under pressure, especially during race season. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. A team player with excellent communication skills. An ability to work on specific race weekends within an agreed calendar. Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential if backed by experience.
