Linux Systems Engineer (Permanent)

Role: HPC Linux Systems Engineer Location: Remote working - 1-2 days a month in office (various office locations available) Salary: £60-75K base + 10% bonus + other benefits Type: Permanent, full-time Our client is a global IT solutions and managed services provider that focuses on helping organizations digitally transform their operations. They serve a wide range of industries, including healthcare, finance, and education, providing services such as IT consulting, system integration, and ongoing support. They are looking for a motivated, HPC/Linux Systems Engineer to join their new HPC, AI & Quantum business unit. HPC Cluster Implementation: Implement and deploy HPC solutions, manage the full stack, and ensure smooth handover. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive training materials and guides for effective HPC system usage. Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct ongoing monitoring and generate regular system health, utilization, and status reports. Proficient in Linux, HPC scheduling, and configuration management tools such as Slurm, Open PBS, Ansible, and Terraform.
