We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commissioning Officer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in shaping, developing, and overseeing commissioned services that meet the needs of our community. Key Responsibilities: Lead the commissioning of services in [specific sectors, e.g., health, social care, education, etc.], ensuring they deliver exceptional quality and value. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct market analysis, service reviews, and gap analyses to identify needs and opportunities for service improvement. Design, develop, and implement commissioning strategies aligned with organisational priorities and goals. Manage the procurement and contract management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks. Monitor and evaluate commissioned services, ensuring they deliver agreed outcomes and adapt to changing needs. Ensure budgets and financial resources are effectively allocated and managed to optimise service delivery.Key Requirements: Proven experience in commissioning, procurement, or contract management, ideally within the public sector. Strong understanding of commissioning principles, processes, and relevant legislation. Ability to analyse complex data, manage budgets, and identify service needs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including service providers, government bodies, and the community.
