Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead the team in the absence of the Manager. You'll be an innovative and passionate Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager, who is customer focused, enjoys assisting with leading a team, and creating a Life-style F&B vibe. As Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction. You will embrace every opportunity to create extra special moments for our guests and provide a personal experience our guests will want to share. Joining the dedicated Food and Beverage Department, you will: Co-ordinating and directing employees to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service within the restaurant and bar areas. Maximising sales, profits and customer satisfaction. Assisting the Manager in running the bar and restaurant. Respond to audits that are completed by the company to ensure continual improvement is achieved. Assist in ensuring the teams are delivering monthly Net Promoter and Guest Review Index service indicators Assist the Manager in the ownership of the full in stay and post stay food and beverage service feedback Support in Proactive involvement in Sales familiarisation trips and customer tastings to ensure personalised experiences drive value and upsell opportunities Assist the manager in controlling the food and beverage budget, in relation to occupancy, departmental expenses and staff rota's. Ensuring that all the administration, cash control, stock control and security procedures are adhered to by self and team members. As a Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will have excellent attention to detail in order to provide consistent standards. This is a vital role in the function of the hotel and ultimately the service provided to our guests before, during and after their stay. You will love chatting to our guests offering help and assistance, you will be a great at multi-tasker, you will be efficient at solving guest enquiries and you will always have a smile for our teams and guests. On your first day you will begin a structured 12 week learning journey, giving you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be a great Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager. With this in mind, we are looking for a Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager who: Can deliver excellent standards Uses initiative Is self-aware and able to evaluate their own work Has a customer service attitude Has the ability to multi-task and provides excellent attention to detail Management training within the Hospitality and Catering sector. Experience at supervisory level is essential. Experience within a hotel environment would be an advantage. Knowledge of Micros and Quadranet software systems would be advantageous.
