This role is based in the West Midlands. As the Purchasing Manager, you will be pivotal in optimising procurement processes and strategies to enhance cost efficiency and supplier performance. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Analyse market trends to forecast demand and mitigate risks. Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function. Your Experience: Proven experience in purchasing or procurement management in a manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management. A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
