Are you an experienced Asset & Compliance Manager looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join their team, ensuring their estate remains fully compliant and technically sound.

Role Overview: As the Asset & Compliance Manager, you will report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for validating technical services to ensure statutory compliance across the estate. This includes managing asset data collection and maintaining the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, while ensuring safety and compliance across high-risk areas such as asbestos, fire safety, gas installations, and water hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent audits to ensure statutory compliance across the estate.
  • Manage and maintain accurate asset data, ensuring it is up-to-date in systems like Maximo.
  • Lead compliance reviews and report on high-risk areas (e.g. fire safety, asbestos, gas installations).
  • Support operational teams by implementing and maintaining compliance standards and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support for lifecycle reports and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and deliver health & safety and compliance policies, ensuring legal obligations are met.
  • Ensure all compliance certificates are stored and accessible in an efficient manner.
  • Liaise with third-party contractors to ensure safe, compliant service delivery.
  • Attend meetings to provide expert guidance on compliance and health & safety matters.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in asset management, including lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of statutory and mandatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to conduct both technical and compliance audits, providing detailed reports.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Knowledge and experience in health & safety, with the ability to develop and enforce safe systems of work.
  • IT literate, with experience using Maximo or similar CAFM systems.
  • Commercial awareness, ensuring asset changes are properly recorded and tracked.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification in M&E, compliance, or health & safety.
  • Minimum of IOSH certification, with strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and M&E building services.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001 standards.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Maximo or similar CAFM systems.
  • Understanding of SFG20 and preventative maintenance planning.
