Role: Business Analyst

Location: London - 3 days per week

Length: 12 months (initial)

Signify are working with a client who are searching for an experienced Business Analyst to join the team ASAP for an initial 12-month contract, where you will join the team on-site 3 times per week in Central London.

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our International Information Technology team, working in their Madrid office. In this role, you will play a key role in defining and implementing change within a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to iterate on existing products or deliver new (MVPs).
• Document and validate non-functional requirements.
• Design and implement new business processes.
• Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support the Product Manager in defining and managing the product backlog.
• Contribute to data modeling and analysis.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support MVP and product launch activities, including user training, end-user support, and go-live activities.
• Assist in vendor selection and procurement processes.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize data for decision-making.
• Communicate analytical insights to various stakeholders.
• Review and provide input into technical designs.
• Troubleshoot and assist in resolving escalated support tickets.
• Document and design user journeys and user-system interactions.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of the insurance/reinsurance domain.
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and process mapping tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Professional Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience with insurance systems and processes is a plus.
• Experience working in matrix organizations and with global teams.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies is essential; experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to write user stories and define non-functional requirements.
• Experience in mapping and understanding complex processes.
