Nursery Manager

A new family run Nursery in Catford is looking for an experienced Manager to join their team, The Director is looking for someone who is confident, warm, caring, kind and passionate about childcare. This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to work 40 hours per week therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following: -Monday to Friday -Shifts between the hours of 8am-6pm If you meet the following requirements then please apply today: -Minimum Level 3 Qualified in Childcare -Experience of Management within Early Years -Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one) -Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS -Excellent communication skills both written & spoken -Confident knowledge of the inspection process and/or experience leading a team to a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ outcome. -Will be an exceptional leader who understands and will enjoy a nursery environment. -Will be highly resilient and comfortable in a leadership role. -Will have strong personal values and integrity and understand and embrace the vision the Directors inspire to achieve within the setting and community. You will be required to carry out the following duties: * Working in a team supporting & leading the team * Follow Nurseries policies and procedures * Sharing innovative new ideas * Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times * Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis * To ensure responsibility for the effective daily running of the rooms * To have a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and expectations * To act as an excellent role model to the staff team being able to showcase high quality practice in all areas * To take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practice within the nursery * To work co-operatively with the Director * To work with outside professionals where required * To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families Benefits you will recieve: -Outstanding Achievement Bonus: Receive a £2000 bonus when the nursery attains an Ofsted OUTSTANDING rating. -Generous Holiday Package: Start with 20 days of holiday plus 8 paid bank holidays.
