Leading manufacturer of a sustainable MMC solution seeks an experienced Design Manager to take on a key role leading the design process in their projects working with education, healthcare and commercial sectors.
About the Design Manager role:
Interpreting Architects' drawings into buildable solutions
Working closely with all colleagues and stakeholders from bid stage onwards
Attending meetings as the project progresses
Providing and developing scope of works, liaising with the relevant suppliers as well as your colleagues in manufacturing
Working with the Design team to ensure provision of value for money
Developing standards and product development
As Design Manager, you will have:
Qualification in Architecture, Engineering or Construction
Proven knowledge of either Timber Frame, SIPS or other closed panel systems
High standard of written and spoken English
Good understanding of Building Regulations and RIBA design stages
Able to use AutoCAD and Revit software
Passion for design and creative flair and excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, able to negotiate effectively and work under pressure
Proven team player
Benefits include:
Salary (depending on experience, qualifications etc) 50-70,000
Bonus (potentially up to 12.5% of salary) paid annually
