About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Council’s resource centre for single people affected by homelessness in Haringey.  Mulberry Junction comprises of a small multi-disciplinary team working to deliver a co-produced and psychologically informed support service to prevent and tackle homelessness. This role will be varied, community facing, fast paced and outcomes focussed. As Service Manager you will work with the Deputy Manager and other operational managers to coproduce the service with guests and staff to provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all. You will oversee recruitment, team development and learning opportunities to capacity build. You will empower our guests, staff and partners to work collaboratively, fostering good relations between those accessing service at the service and working in the local area.   You will insightfully represent your service in various meetings, project groups and initiatives working in the borough, embedding the service within the local multi-disciplinary homelessness partnership.  Working for Haringey We value passion and commitment over professional experience and encourage applicants to consider the transferable skills they have learnt in all areas of their lives. If you wish to apply for this role, please ensure that you do so as soon as possible.   Additionally, we are aware that automated emails may be diverted through to junk email folders.  Please continue to check these through the application process.  If you have any questions about the status of your application, please contact  About You With experience managing relevant homelessness services you will be responsible for managing this key service for adults at risk of homelessness and rough sleeping in the borough alongside the Rough Sleeping Task Force and our Housing Needs Team.  You will: Possess experience of staff management, development and support Have experience delivering and managing a Psychologically and Trauma Informed Environment Feel confident overseeing the Health and Safety of staff, guests and co-located teams including managing building compliance Be confident in your ability to deliver a quality and innovative service Be solution focussed and motivated to tackle the causes and effects of homelessness with a personalised, collaborative and dynamic approach Feel confident working in partnership with a range of internal and external partners We are particularly interested in hearing from people with personal experience of homelessness, mental health, substance use or criminal justice services and from Black and Minoritised Ethnic communities. We recognise that the LGBTQI+ communities are overrepresented in homelessness services and underrepresented in the work force. We strongly encourage applications from these communities.
