Cleaner Supervisor Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 3BS Salary: £24,294 - £25,119 per annum, pro rata (£10,505 - £10,862 actual salary) Pay award pending Hours: 16 hours per week, 05:00 – 08:15am Facility Services and Civic Management work across Newcastle and Gateshead providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals and welfare catering services. They have a large team of cleaners, cleaner supervisors, facility supervisors (caretakers), catering assistants, assistant chef’s and chef’s working various hours and shifts in schools and public buildings. The service is committed to delivering a high standard of service to their customers and in doing so investing in the staff and staff development. The Role An opportunity exists for a suitable individual to work within the Facility Services Division of City Operations, Neighbourhoods and Regulatory Services Directorate as a Cleaner Supervisor at Walker Medical Centre, Church Walk, Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne. Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have good communications skills, the ability to work with limited supervision, be capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting, and carrying of equipment and materials.
