Our client is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to join their fast-paced team and oversee complex, multi-venue event plans across the UK, from London to Burnley (and everywhere in between!). Whether it s Premier League football matches or high-profile events like Silverstone F1 and summer festivals, you ll be at the forefront, ensuring smooth operations from traffic management to security and stewarding.

This is a hands-on role that requires regular late nights and weekend work, but with it comes the opportunity to be part of some of the UK's most exciting events.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and mentor a talented operations team
- Lead service lines like Event Traffic Management, SIA Security, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, and Event Parking
- Create event packs, including risk assessments and crowd management plans
- Coordinate resources and equipment, managing company stock, vehicles, and uniforms
- Drive innovation in event operations and attend industry events like FSOA & SGSA
- Work closely with HR to handle staffing, recruitment, and welfare for a large workforce
- Ensure compliance with British Standards, legal requirements, and industry guidelines
What You ll Bring:
- 5+ years experience in an operational/events environment
- Proven leadership with a track record of coaching and mentoring teams
- Willingness to go above and beyond to support the company s growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS applications with attention to detail
- A UK Driving Licence (extensive travel required)
- Desirable qualifications: L4 Spectator Safety, SIA DS Licence, Lantra 12D M6
