Part Time Teaching Assistant

Simply Education are working in partnership with a friendly Secondary School in the Boston area who are looking to recruit a part time teaching assistant. This position will begin after the upcoming October half term and will run until at least the the Christmas break. This part time Teaching Assistant post will be working 2 days per week, on a Thursday & Friday. The Teaching Assistant will be supporting a number of learners across the school and will therefore need to be comfortable with working with learners aged between 11-16 years of age. The Teaching Assistant will need to have a good knowledge of SEN and be able to quickly build up positive relationships with the students that they are working with. The Requirements: - Have experience of working with learners at a Secondary School age. - Have the ability and experience of teaching in your desired specialism or key stage. - Have strong classroom and behavior management skills. - Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team. - Possess the passion to have a positive impact within the classroom.
