Machinist

Are you a skilled machinist looking for a new role within engineering? Do you have any experience operating or running CNC machinery? If so, we are looking for a skilled machinist to operate & run a bespoke CNC machine for an engineering firm in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is starting on a rolling tempoary basis paying a starting salary paying circa £16ph+, with overtime paid at increased rates of pay! 40 hours a week, standard working hours. The machine you will be running is not a common machine you will see in most workshops so training will be supplied, however we are still only considering applicants with engineering backgrounds. Skills Required: - Must have had CNC setting & operating experience (ideally on lathes) Previously operated manual mills & lathes Must be able to read from technical drawings Knowledge of CNC controls This company specialise in heavy engineering so you will need to be physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
