Job ref: CP09/24 | Job type: Contract Location: NIAO|Salary: 13,000 per annum Closing date: Tuesday 22 Oct 2024 09:00 Job summary Chair of Advisory Board We are seeking to appoint a Chair of the Advisory Board, with effective and successful strategic leadership experience in a senior executive or board role. You will work closely with the Comptroller and Auditor General and team of Non-Executive Directors. You will have worked at a senior level with strong influencing, communication and change management skills. Your approach will be about working in partnership and providing tangible advice for the Northern Ireland Audit Office. Ideally, you will have effective and successful strategic leadership experience in a senior executive or board role e.g. CEO, Board Member or Senior Management Team in an organisation of comparable scale and complexity. You will have a passion for good governance in the public sector, as well as strong influencing, communication and change management skills. Your approach will focus on working in partnership and providing positive advice and challenge. It is anticipated the post will require a time commitment in the region of two days per month.
