About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a motivated Sales Administrator to join our team based in Ilford, London. This is a fast-paced and varied administrative role where you would be managing customer enquiries, providing stock updates, organising product quotations, and providing ongoing customer support with orders. In this role, you will be the public face of the organisation, ensuring that the company’s global reputation for quality and the highest standards is embedded from the first point of contact with the customer. You will be an excellent communicator, able to clearly and concisely engage with customers worldwide, taking into account cultural considerations. You will also prepare products and their documentation for shipping and export.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers and handling the end-to-end customer order process
- Managing customer accounts and queries
- Managing Inventory and stock requirements
- Documentation for shipping and export
- Providing quotations and communications with customers
- Resolving any issues that arise with customer orders
- Input of sales orders onto In-house computer system
- Liaise with production department re customer orders
- Ensure payment is received for goods in accordance with invoice terms
- Ensure files relating to all sales are up to date and correctly maintained
- Check accuracy of products and paperwork prior to dispatch
- Supporting Dispatch with the picking and packing of products
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administration role
Required Skills:
- IT literate including a good level of skill in MS Office
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Confident communication with clients located globally, whether verbally or in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Active team player
- Ability to actively listen and grasp new information
- Adaptable and able to learn quickly
Preferred Skills:
- Experience gained in a company operating internationally or in a professional services industry
- Experience in exports and/or sales admin roles
Pay range and compensation package:
Salary: up to £28,000 DoE
