Planner

Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a principle contractor from within the Power Generation sector who's won a major EfW contract in North London.

We require a Planner for this project.

Essentially you will need:

• Relevant and recognised industry qualifications
• Competency in the use of P6 (preferable), and in the use of Microsoft Office and 4D software The ability to work to defined, often challenging, timescales
• Previous supervision experience within Power Generation/EfW/Heavy Industry
• Experience working on the installation of industrial boilers would be beneficial

The role:

• Manage the preparation of a portfolio of projects, ensuring the monthly updates with Project Manager Instructions.
• Prepare and update the monthly Progress Programme for a portfolio of projects, including project performance analysis and path evaluation, in line with contract requirements for scope, time, risk, schedule updates, and identifying any opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinating with all external stakeholders involved in the process, including commercial teams, planners, section leads, and site agents.
• Ensure realistic and accurate project delivery is established.
• Provide leadership and guidance to those on-site.
• Utilize and apply Primavera P6 proficiently, with a strong understanding of cost-loaded programmes.
• Promote company values in all interactions with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
