Job Description: AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC Southampton Y our Role As one of our Vehicle Mechanics , you ll be essential to moving our world forward by helping to deliver what matters . T he size and diversity of our fleet means youll have plenty of room to develop and expand your skills further . F rom light vans right up to tractor and trailer units and our growing alternative fuel fleet . Current car mechanics who are interested in evolving their skillset to include HGVs are welcome to apply. Whats in it for you? Well pay you between £ 17.26 - £ 18.63 per hour , depending on your experience, plus shift premiums * and location allowance * ( if applicable ) . Successful candidates will receive a signing-on bonus of £1,000 ( £ 500 upon commencing employment & £ 500 after month 6). Theres potential for overtime a s well which is paid at time and a half . Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance work on a large fleet Carry out regular maintenance inspections , complete online records and stock control Work as part of a team with a focus on quality to achieve reliability and maintenance targets What do you need ?
