CNC Setter

Our client design and manufacture precision pressed component parts to a range of market industries.

The position is a Days position - Monday to Friday

Reporting directly to the Works Manager, the role will encompass the following duties and responsibilities;

• Competently set and operate Hurco vertical milling machinery
• Carry out conversational programming
• Working to tight tolerances and in process measurements
• Reading technical drawings
• Loading and unloading of CNC machine tools
• Quality control, working to customer specification

To be successful in the role of CNC Miller you will possess the following qualities:

• Previous setting and operation of CNC Milling machinery
• Knowledge of operation of vertical machining centres
• Hurco machining knowledge
• Some degree of conversational programming
• Understanding of component drawings
• Some basic quality knowledge and able to use basic measuring equipment

This position is based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge.
