Shirley Parsons is excited to partner with a top-tier construction company in search of a Carbon Manager to oversee the delivery of their Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) frameworks. In this collaborative and diverse environment, you will drive insights and strategies by optimizing data to help the company achieve its net-zero ambitions, enhance operational efficiency, and solidify its position as a leader in sustainable construction.

As the Carbon Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to:
Collaborate with the business to establish robust embodied carbon baselines using extensive LCA data sets.
Lead the development of an innovative embodied carbon tool to enhance work-winning strategies, design development, and team training.
Support project teams in reaching embodied carbon targets through strategic design development and recommendations for low-carbon materials.
Contribute to the creation of new strategies, policies, and targets that align with the company's sustainability vision.
Deliver engaging training sessions for design and commercial teams on embodied carbon principles and the tools available.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience in developing and modeling environmental Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) at both project and portfolio levels, demonstrating a deep understanding of sustainability in construction.
A successful track record of delivering LCAs and carbon management projects across diverse sectors, showcasing adaptability and a client-focused approach.
Expertise in data visualization, transforming complex data sets and trends into clear, impactful insights that drive decision-making.
Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing data using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring robust data management and reporting.
Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage clients and senior management, fostering effective communication and collaboration across projects.
