Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Operative Nottingham, NG2 £11.44ph Monday-Friday 39 hours (8 am - 5 pm / 8.30 am - 5 pm) Start date: ASAP Supporting the Operations Manager and Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for completing technical and manual tasks in the warehouse. Duties include: Cleaning, repairing, and servicing fire alarms Using tools to replace components Quality control Manual lifting Communicating with couriers by phone and email to meet delivery timescales. Stock takes, picking, and packing Serialisation of inventory Check deliveries for damaged or missing items and record any issues. Partake in system recording and ensure items are stored in appropriate conditions Maintain records of goods in and out of the warehouse Thoroughly checking goods from suppliers and recording on Excel Other technical tasks as requiredWho are we looking for?: 1 year of Warehouse experience Basic understanding of Excel, good with computers Attention to detail and consistency Highly reliable and good work ethic Able to work independently Experience or an interest in electronics / technical work is a plus!This role will begin as a temporary contract for 1 to 2 months.
