Job Title:Support Worker Location: Gorseinon, Swansea About Our Client: Our client is a leading provider of supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, and behaviours that challenge in Swansea and across Wales. They are dedicated to providing person-centred care and empowering our residents to lead fulfilling lives within their community. Position Overview: We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our client in Gorseinon on a full time permanent basis. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to the residents within the supported living home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults and contribute to their overall wellbeing and independence. Key Responsibilities: Provide person-centred support to residents with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, and behaviours that challenge. Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. Promote independence and empower residents to develop essential life skills. Foster a safe and supportive environment within the home. Effectively manage challenging behaviours with compassion and patience. Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the holistic needs of residents are met. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.Requirements: A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable adults. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
