Fire Assurance Lead

We are pleased to be working with a leading Housing Association in the search or a Fire Assurance Lead.    Location: This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in an office or site based and working from home the other days.  Candidates must be willing to travel to sites in Norwich and along the South coast as required.   Salary: Circa £50,000 - £60,000 Responsibilities: Ensue the client is meeting its legal, moral and financial duties in building portfolio as a Responsible Person /Accountable Person being a freeholder, leaseholder and social landlord. Liaising with London Fire Brigade and managing enforcement notices. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, having the necessary competencies to provide robust challenges when required and diplomacy and tact to ensure delivery of remedial actions. Design, implementing and monitoring of the Fire Safety Risk Management Framework and Assurance programs. Actively lead, coach, develop and enable the Fire Safety Assurance Officers to ensure high performance and support the successful delivery of Fire Safety programmes. Evaluates data and use market knowledge to identify arising risks and provides advice on performance-related risk management measures.  Requirements: An indepth understanding of Fire Safety Risk Management Frameworks and their application in a large organisations Knowledge and demonstrable experience of Fire Risk Assessment Methodology and Practice. Exceptional communication skills at all levels and the ability to utilise different types of media and communication strategies.  Ideally candidates will hold relevant Fire safety qualifications.  In Summary If you are a motivated and experienced Fire Safety professional with exceptional communication skills we would love to hear from you.
