As a trainee teaching assistant, you will work closely with experienced educators and SEND professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that addresses the unique needs of each student. This role not only allows you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people but also provides you with invaluable experience that will enhance your career in psychology, counselling, or educational support. Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to: Have excellent communication skills. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff. Be encouraging and supportive. Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children's development. Ensure the safety and well-being of the student. Work and liaise with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student's academic, social, and emotional development.This school has a friendly and welcoming community. Job Specification Have experience working with children, or adults, with additional needs Hold a L2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Able to support children of all abilities.
