General Manager

My client, an exciting, vibrant and growing business, is seeking to appoint a permanent General Manager to manage their Warehouse in West Yorkshire. You will be managing the daily operations of the Warehouse, including all internal movement, transfers and storing of clients’ products. You will maintain high levels of accuracy in the day-to-day operations; lead and development the warehouse team of approx. 70 personnel; and provide impeccable customer service to clients. This senior role, which reports directly into the senior leadership team, is a busy, challenging and exciting position. You will be the senior person on site main point of contact for both customers and staff. A background of working in the FMCG industry is essential and Client Relationship Management is desirable. You will have: * good experience of operational management and control within 3PL * proven leadership and development skills * fmcg experience * IT literate and numerate * an ability to produce clear and concise reports * good presentation skills * problem solving abilities
