Gurler Mae is proud to announce that we are searching for an Acoustics Consultant on behalf of our client, who is an industry leader in AV Solutions & Acoustics.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Acoustics Consultant to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of projects, providing expert advice, designing solutions, and ensuring acoustic performance meets client requirements.

Responsibilities

Consultancy Services: Conduct acoustic assessments, surveys, and provide detailed reports for various projects.

*

Design and Analysis: Develop and analyse acoustic designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

*

Project Management: Lead and manage project tasks from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

*

Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing clear, professional advice.

*

Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to junior consultants and other team members.

*

Site Visits: Perform site visits to assess acoustic conditions, monitor installations, and ensure quality control.

*

Compliance: Ensure all acoustic solutions comply with the latest UK legislation, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

*

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in acoustic consultancy or a related field.

*

Education: Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) or a similar professional body is preferred.

*

Skills: Proficiency in acoustic modelling software (e.g., INSUL, Odeon, SoundPLAN) and CAD tools.

*

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

*

Organisation: Strong project management and organisational skills.

*

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

*

Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

*

Full UK driving license
