We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our experienced team as an Assistant Head of Department in Construction & Building Services, specifically overseeing Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of education within a thriving and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the management and development of the curriculum, staff, and resources. Drive student outcomes by maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. Support and inspire both staff and students to reach their full potential. Travel between our Cambridge and Huntingdon campuses as needed. Qualifications and Skills Required: In depth teaching experience in a Construction-related field. Strong knowledge of the Further Education (FE) sector and the ability to demonstrate relevant industry skills. Current Health & Safety knowledge relevant to the role. Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills. Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines in an educational environment. Relevant trade qualifications and a teaching certificate such as DET, DTLLS, Cert ED, or PGCE.
