Engagement Manager

Location : London Work pattern: Hybrid Contract Type: Full time and Permanent Job Overview As an Engagement Manager (EM) at VantagePoint, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects. You will track project financials/budget/resourcing, whilst collaborating closely with delivery teams on a variety of transformation projects (ranging from technical implementations to advisory engagements). You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and effective project governance is followed in line with VantagePoint’s delivery methodology. You will also play a key role in driving VantagePoint’s commercial efforts from helping craft sales proposals to growing our relationships with existing clients. An aspect of your role also involves driving internal initiatives, where you will have the autonomy to lead and co-ordinate various initiatives based off business needs. Here’s an idea of what your day will look like: Managing all things project governance for a finance transformation project (projects can range from technical implementations to advisory work). This includes management of: project budget/financials, internal & external stakeholders, project planning (tracking progress to ensure work is delivered according to schedule), resource allocation, project risks and change management. Collaborating with delivery teams to ensure adherence to the appropriate delivery methodologies and the use of suitable tools for their clients (often working with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Microsoft Excel). Joining forces with different teams across VantagePoint on the preparation of RFPs and sales proposals. Checking in with your project teams, especially more junior team members, to provide coaching and mentoring support.
