Operational Team Leader Selby £37336 Day Shift Are you an experienced team leader with a background in manufacturing? VPK UK Ltd is looking for an Operational Team Leader (OTL) to join our dynamic team and drive productivity, performance, and process improvements at our site. As the OTL, you’ll be responsible for meeting the production plan for your cell, working closely with other OTLs and the Conversion Manager to ensure efficiency, minimize waste, and lead process improvements. You’ll also manage and develop a team of direct reports, ensuring full compliance with HSE & ISO standards. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the day-to-day running of the production function, ensuring smooth operations. * Develop your team to deliver on the site’s production plan while achieving service excellence. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like safety, OTIF, waste, and quality, and take action to meet targets. * Drive operational efficiency by improving processes and solving problems proactively. * Manage the performance and development of production team members, addressing any day-to-day issues and fostering a culture of engagement and trust. * Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. * Work closely with Engineering to ensure asset reliability and adherence to maintenance schedules. What We're Looking For: * Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment. * Strong safety-first mindset. * Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. * Excellent organisational and communication skills. * Ability to effectively manage, support, and brief your team.
