Software Engineer

Our client, a globally renowned fund, is seeking a Software Engineer based in London to join their post-trade engineering team. This role involves leveraging your software engineering expertise to work on innovative greenfield projects, as well as maintaining existing systems as needed. The ideal candidate will develop systems that interface with trading platforms and build solutions to aggregate data, offering valuable insights into treasury operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop risk management tools to evaluate interest rate, currency, and counterparty risks. Work closely with various teams to ensure treasury systems align with business requirements. Create compliance and reporting systems to meet regulatory standards. Implement data analytics tools to provide comprehensive insights into treasury activities. Design platforms to facilitate access to diverse funding sources. Develop and maintain systems for real-time liquidity management.

Required Skills and Experience: 6+ years of experience in software engineering. Preferably a background in finance, with experience in liquidity or corporate treasury. Expertise in at least one programming language: C++, Java, or Python. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. Proven track record in software design and development. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
