CLASS 1 DRIVER Monday - Thursday: Start times between 3.00PM & 7.00PM Pay Rate: £17.00 PER HOUR What's in it for me? Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to: Need to be able to strap your load up safely to ensure the load doesn't shift in transit Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Adhere to traffic laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption. Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management. Essential Skills As a Class 1 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK C+E Licence (CLASS 1) Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card. Have a minimum of 2 year's experience driving a C+E vehicles. No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes. Must be able to speak and read a good level of English. Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills. Effective communication skills. Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial. What training is provided?
