Job Title: Head of Command and Control System
Salary: Circa £65,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Bristol (Relocation package available)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Flexible working within teams; typically, 3-4 days per week on-site.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship required.

The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced leader to head the development of a Command and Control (C2) system. The C2 portfolio includes advanced solutions for UK domestic and export customers, particularly in Land and Maritime air-defence missile programmes, as well as new directed energy weapons programmes.
As the Head of C2 System, you will be responsible for managing the development of a C2 product and overseeing its integration onto customer platforms. Leading a team of systems engineers, you will handle:
- Requirements analysis
- Collaborative design efforts across software, hardware, human factors, and algorithms engineering disciplines
- Proving plans and generating compliance evidence leading to certification of the product.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the C2 product, ensuring effective integration onto customer platforms.
- Manage a team of systems engineers focused on requirements analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and product certification.
- Oversee work packages and provide people management, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Apply systems thinking and a proactive approach to drive product line development.
- Engage with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with customer needs and internal goals.
