Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer Dungannon, County Tyrone CPL are currently working closely with a highly progressive, industry leading manufacturing company locally based in Dungannon, County Tyrone to assist in the recruitment of a forward thinking and experienced Manufacturing Engineer Working with the Manufacturing Process Engineering Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures and equipment to maximise safety, quality and delivery, and to minimise cost of manufacture. Roles & Responsibilities; Plan, coordinate and implement the most efficient and cost effective production methods required to manufacture major sub-components and final assembly of machines. Coordinate with production, engineering and quality assurance departments to establish / implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues. Implementing best practice standard work on shop floor to improve safety and quality and maximise efficiency. Management of BOMs and material movement through Plan For Every Part. Develop ergonomic processes designed around Lean Manufacturing principles. Provide production support to production departments New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes, production launch. Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system. What we are looking for; Minimum of 2+ years previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or a similar role Minimum of HND in engineering or equivalent Ability use metrics in order to analyse results Strong passion for innovation and results driven Strong IT skills, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
