HGV 1 - Days/Nights and Tramping

ARC are currently looking for experienced Class 1 container drivers to join our team in Southampton. If you are committed to safety, efficiency, and providing excellent service, this position offers a great opportunity to advance your career.

• Location: Southampton
• Type of Work: Container transport, ensuring secure and timely delivery of goods

• LTD, umbrella, self employed and PAYE payment method

Shifts Available:

• Day driver
• Night driver
• Trampers
• ongoing work for the right driver

Our Fleet:

• Quality: Modern and well-maintained trucks specifically equipped for container transport
• Comfort: Vehicles equipped with the latest technology and driver amenities
• Maintenance: High-standard maintenance ensuring reliability and safety

Requirements:

• Licence: Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than six points, held for a minimum of 6 months
• Qualifications: CPC, digital tachograph card and port cards
• Experience: Previous experience in container transport required
• Language: Good standard of spoken and written English
• Status: Settled Status in the UK

Additional Skills:

• Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Navigation: Proficient in using GPS and navigation systems
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
