Job summaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team working with young people and their loved ones whilst experiencing a first episode of psychosis. This is a rare opportunity for a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity. Full support, clinical and managerial supervision will be provided on a monthly basis and opportunities for development and additional training may be available. If applying for a secondment, approval from your current Manager MUST be sought before applying.The role will involvev Management of a caseload of people with complex mental health and social care needs, using evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions and document these in accordance with local and national standards and guidance. v Care-coordination responsibilities for an agreed number of clients on the first episode and extended assessment pathway within the team. v To participate in the initial assessment of people referred to the team with suspected first episode psychosis. v To participate in the operational systems and the development of the Early Intervention team. v To provide leadership for junior staff, multi-disciplinary support staff and learners. Training , Experience, knowledge & skills Essential Registered mental health nurse or equivalent in Social work Post registration experience. Recent experience working in either adult mental health or CAMHS.
