Job Advert: Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Health and Safety ManagerLocation: IpswichSalary: £60,000-£65,000 per annum, plus an attractive benefits packageAbout the Role:Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Health and Safety Manager to join their team for a landmark construction projects local to Felixstowe. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on a high-profile construction site.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures on the construction site.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Provide guidance and training to staff and contractors on health and safety practices.Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.Maintain accurate health and safety records and reports.Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities as required.Qualifications and Experience:NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.NVQ Level 3/4/5 in Occupational Health and Safety.Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.Experience working with main contractors is highly desirable.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits:Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 per annum.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work on a landmark construction project.Professional development and career progression opportunities.If you are a committed and experienced health and safety professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
