Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Hybrid (across UK). Duration : 6 month contract Deloitte Working with the Deloitte Associate (Contractor) Programme means we can offer you the opportunity to work on a variation of industry and client related projects. Your role as a Data Analyst / Technical Business Analyst (DA / TBA) is to be the “voice of the business” ensuring that our technology teams deliver solutions that meet our business and technical needs. You will play a crucial part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the business. Working with Programme and Project Managers to deliver activities in a timely fashion, ensuring optimal quality and a focus on user experience. Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data processing and reporting. Design and conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques. An experienced DA, or equivalent experience in a role centred around process transformation or improving user experience. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar technically focused role. Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (or similar spreadsheet software). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Being a team player with an ability to work collaboratively and positively with others in an open, friendly, flexible and facilitating manner. Ability to define scope and distil lots of information into high level understandable concepts and business language. Experience of process mapping, requirements elicitation techniques & Business Case writing. Ability to work in a complex partnership model, with an ability to decide which style of analysis and project delivery is appropriate. Designing user experiences and design thinking BPMN/Excel/Power BI As a means of managing tax, commercial and reputational risks, Deloitte prohibits the use of Associates through Personal Service Companies (‘PSCs’). All Associates must contract under PAYE arrangements through a Deloitte approved ‘Employment Company’ (aka ‘umbrella company.’)
