Job description CNC Miller CNC Miller salary : £38-40k + overtime Overview Our client, a leading provider of high-quality components to the aerospace and other performance-critical industrial sectors, is seeking a skilled and experienced  CNC Miller to join their team in Southampton. With extensive capabilities in casting, NDT, machining, and finishing, the business delivers precision components to the highest standards. As part of a wider Engineering group, they are following a continued growth pattern. CNC Miller Responsibilities: Develop and implement CNC programs Comfortable programming using either Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain controls. Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines to produce complex components. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure product accuracy. Deliver high-quality machined parts within specified tolerances and timelines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with the production team to optimise processes and efficiency. CNC Miller Requirements: Proven experience of working within a precision machining environment. Proficiency in programming with Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain controls. In-depth knowledge of setting up and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD& T. CAD/CAM experience is preferential but not essential. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
