Job Title: SEN Tutor - North Yorkshire
Location: North Yorkshire (various locations)
Salary: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Part-time/Full-time, flexible hours available
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Tutors in North Yorkshire to join our team. If you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience in supporting SEN learners, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will:
Provide tailored, 1-to-1 or small-group support to children with a range of needs. Develop and implement customised learning plans that cater to each child's unique requirements. Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their academic, emotional, and social development. Collaborate with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ PGCE / Teaching qualification - Essential Proven experience working with SEN students (e.g., Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to teaching
