Apricus Resourcing are working with a private independent mental health provider who are looking for an experienced Ward Manager (RMN/RNLD) to lead a ward in one of their services based in Bamber Bridge. This role offers an attractive salary of up to £45,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. The service operate a open rehab ward for males 18+ who have been detained under the mental health act, these individuals may also have a forensic history, have personality disorder. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in mental health nursing, with substantial experience in a leadership or managerial role. A valid NMC registration is essential, alongside a demonstrable track record of managing a team within a healthcare setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial, as is the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ward, implementing and monitoring care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle complex situations with empathy and professionalism.
