Why Rolls Royce?

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sales & Trading Director to join our team. Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance Limited ("RRPF") is a jet engine leasing company with the largest global portfolio of Rolls-Royce and IAE V2500-A5 aero engines. We provide medium and long-term spare engine leasing and bespoke financial solutions to airlines, aircraft lessors, and OEMs and support over 60 customers worldwide with a portfolio of over 500 jet engines. This role sits within the Parts Trading Team; a fast-paced, close-knit team responsible for maximising the residual value of the lease pool and providing aftermarket solutions to MROs and airlines.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience and a passion for the aviation industry, exposure to sales or leasing, an eye for detail, and be capable of working with a diverse mix of external customers and internal partners.

Join us and we'll provide an environment where you can be yourself. An inclusive, digital-first culture that invests in you, gives you a platform for continuous learning, and access to an incredible breadth and depth of opportunities to grow your career.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum, we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons; frequency will depend on business needs, nature of the role, what works for the team, and for the individual.

We offer excellent development, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits. These include bonus, employee support assistance, and employee discounts.

What you will be doing:

  • Grow the Parts Trading customer base in EMEA region through parts sales, component leasing, and trading activity.
  • Achieve budgeted sales and acquisition targets and secure short-term lease opportunities for engines.
  • Manage key accounts; establish and maintain strong customer relationships, oversee the transaction process from cradle to grave, identify and resolve any operational issues with support from the team, and assist on certain debt management.
  • Prepare and negotiate term sheets, SPAs, and evaluations for submission to customers and internal approvals.
  • Record activity on CRM, draft and maintain account management plan.
  • Collate market information by liaising with our MRO partners, lessors, and airline customers. Attend conferences and other industry events to expand network and source new leads.
  • Perform pricing analysis for customer campaigns, including modelling acquisition economics ensuring that transactions achieve satisfactory returns.
  • Analyse data and identify new market and business development opportunities.
  • Prepare and present market changes, pricing fluctuations, competitor and customer insights to the engine leasing team and wider business as needed.

What We're looking for:

  • Efficient time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills; able to deal with airlines, MROs, and lessors at senior management levels.
  • Results-focused with strong attention to detail, good numerical reasoning, and drafting skills.
  • Flexible, robust, strong team player, open to new ideas and self-driven.
  • Always act with honesty, integrity, and take responsibility.
  • Background in sales or leasing within aviation and a passion for the industry preferred.
  • Frequent international travel is required.

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

We are an equal opportunities employer. We're committed to developing a diverse workforce and an inclusive working environment. We believe that people from different backgrounds and cultures give us different perspectives. And the more perspectives we have, the more successful we'll be. By building a culture of respect and appreciation, we give everyone who works here the opportunity to realise their full potential.
