Strategic Account Director - Central London/hybrid - Competitive salary, bonus & benefits
My client, a global healthcare company based in Central London, is looking to recruit a Strategic Account Director. The Strategic Account Director will work closely with key leaders across the business and their customers to develop workstreams and test new initiatives to deliver improved performance. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, relationship management skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to identify opportunities with a focus on sourcing, value-added services, supply chain, and sales.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Account Managers supporting the company across multiple markets including its customers.
- Work alongside the Member Engagement team to identify strategic priorities and develop aligned goals across all customer channels including Retail, Health Systems, Specialty, and the Medical Surgical channel.
- Develop the associated change activities that support the delivery of the Member and customer's goals, ensuring all strategic activities have a clear objective defined, success criteria identified, and prioritization assigned.
- Work with company teams to undertake analysis to ensure that the identified approach is appropriate and addresses the business need; use this analysis to recommend alternative approaches to improve the solution; agree on next steps with stakeholder groups and identify key resources to deliver the agreed actions.
- Align with all internal stakeholders to ensure they are informed on the proposed changes, understand the rationale, and have clear expectations of roles & responsibilities.
Key skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
