Senior Solution Architect/ Solutions Consultant/ Technical Architect/ Cloud Architect- London - 3 days remote a week - £90k packageI am currently working with a brilliant consultancy, they have had sustain exceptional growth for a number of years now due to their deep expertise in their field of National Security, and Government, they are involved in some of the most challenging yet rewarding large scale technical projects in the country.They are currently looking for a Solutions Architect, this will be a blend of client facing skills aka, the ability to understand business problems, create a novel model/ solution to help that client, combined with strong technical engineering skills, modern deployment models and experience delivering these projects within Defence, Public Sector, Law Enforcement or National Security. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain third party/ vendor relationshipsEnsure technical feasibility of projects, creating the scope and objectives of each project for wider team and stakeholdersDesign entire lifecycle for complex projects and programmesOrganise and coordinate internal resources and vendors for efficient delivery of projects, delivery assurance and integration, within budget, to expectations and with managed riskDeliver and manage high quality Solution Architecture documentationKey SkillsGood understanding of engineering tools, standard practices, techniques, and methodologies for delivering complex systems and solutions, including modern deployment models (e.g. agile development, CI/CD, etc)Experience of working as a client facing consultant in a systems integrator or public sector organisation directly or through a consultancy delivering complex products and servicesExperience of working as software engineer within IT, infrastructure, networking, or systemsHappy in a client facing capacity and able to relay complex solutions simply to the client’sExperience managing client relationships, projects, and technical teams essentialNeed to be SC clearable (5 years in the UK without leaving for longer than 3 months) and willing to do so for this position, current or previous SC clearance preferredThis is a great opportunity working with some very interesting organisations and projects, for the right candidate this will be a rewarding position providing highly valuable experience, please get in touch for more details if you think it fits your experience.
