Quantity surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Stevenage / surrounding areas Salary: Up to £55,000 + car allowance bonus The Role We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with civils / groundworks experience in the northern home counties. This position is with a large groundworks company who mainly work on large residential developments across the South East for top 20 housebuilders. Projects will be around the Cambridge, Stevenage and North London area. This role with require you to travel to the office near Hounslow once a week and be site based the remaining 4 days. The Company This company is a well established groundworks firm with multiple offices in the South East and employee over 450 people. This groundworks company offer a number of services such as RC frames, groundworks, ground remediation and infrastructure The role will require * Prepare and negotiate Bo Q, tender packages and contract documents * Monitor and control project costs * Risk management * Forecasting and reporting at all stages through to finial accounts * Attending project meetings * Liaising with design teams, clients and sub-contractors Desired Skills & Qualifications * Relevant degree * Ideally civils / groundworks experience * UK driving licence Salary & Benefits * Up to £55,000 DOE * Car allowance * Bonus Keen to hear about other opportunities like this?
