Assembly Operative

MTrec are currently recruiting for assembly operatives based in Evenwood. You would be working for a growing manufacturing company and we are looking for candidates who have the ability to work in a fact paced environment on a permanent back shift. The Role * Daily meetings with the Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload * To help prioritise workloads within the Department / designated Production Line * Vast amounts of assembly work on a range of components * Heavy lifting and manual handling when required * Using various hands tools including drills, screw drivers, rivet guns and spanners * Quality inspection of all completed work * To carry out a variety of different duties if required, as set by the Team Leader * To maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times, including general housekeeping duties such as keeping your workstation tidy The Candidate * A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job. * Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary * Experience working in a fast-paced assembly or production environment * Experience using hand tools The Hours * Monday to Friday 8:00pm to 16:30pm with over time when required The Benefits * Secure employment working for a growing company The Pay * Rate of pay: £11.44ph rising to £12ph after successful training period
