React Native Developer - Green Energy - Renewable Energy Space - Start-up - London - hybrid - 2 days a week in office.

My client is a start-up in the renewable energy space, backed by a green energy accelerator who are looking to revolutionize and accelerate decarbonisation and make an impact to our planet as we know it today.

They are on the lookout for a talented Mobile App Developer to lead the development of their thermal mobile application.

This opportunity will give you a chance to work within a passionate team of engineers, who are working with the latest technologies that directly addresses climate change and make an impact to the planet.

You’ll work closely with like-minded, academic and passionate individuals, and spearhead the mobile application, leading the development and success.

You will:

Develop and maintain the mobile application, working with React Native OR Flutter to ensure excellent performance and a seamless user experience on both iOS and Android devices.

• Work closely with and share design responsibilities with the product lead, making decisions and working with relatively loose requirements, which will allow you to take ownership and responsibility on this.
• Have the opportunity to lead the development of interactive data dashboards on the mobile application, providing partners with real time insights.
• Work with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth communication between the mobile app and their systems.
• Ensure that the mobile app is responsive, reliable, and performs well across different scenarios.
• Carry out thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to maintain a high standard of quality.

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience with React Native OR Flutter Have built iOS or Android applications. Product focused experience
• Backend experience – Python/Ruby/Node
• An interest in AI or have AI experience
• An interest in climate tech/green energy
• Be a good communicator
• Hardware experience (a plus)
• Engineering/Physics background (a plus)
