Supply Chain Manager £50,000 - £55,000 Plus Bonus The Company A very exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join an award-winning specialist product manufacturer that supplies companies and industries across the globe. They are recognised as a market leader with a portfolio that is both designed to meet the growing and changing needs of an international client base as well as remain at the forefront of innovation and quality. The Role Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the key responsibility of the Supply Chain Manager will be to manage end-to-end Supply Chain as well as bring together the Procurement, Planning, Warehouse and Logistics functions. Your additional responsibilities will include: * Managing the Supply Chain team to ensure all targets are met * Delivering both cultural and Operational Change * Ensuring adherence to Supply Chain practices in line with company policies * Take overall responsibility of the Supplier relationship * Improving supply chain processes and efficiencies * Challenging the status quo to change existing thinking * Improve and develop new solutions * Analysis of Supply Chain data to implement any necessary plans * Building strong internal relationships as part of a succession planning strategy The Individual The Supply Chain Manager appointed to role will have at least 5 years’ management experience in a similar role gained within a Manufacturing environment. You will also need: * Either a CIPS or APICS qualification * Team management experience * Excellent Planning and project management skills * Experienced in problem-solving and presenting solutions * A strong knowledge of Supply Chain related IT software * Strong attention to detail * An in-depth understanding of Supply Chain ‘risk management’ The Rewards In return the successful Supply Chain Manager can expect to receive a competitive salary of up to £55,000 (dependent upon experience), up to 10% bonus, PHI and other benefits.
