Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Promote and sell a diverse range of microbiological products to clinical and private laboratories. Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients by delivering high levels of customer service and technical support. Product Knowledge & Support: Utilise in-depth product knowledge to provide technical advice and guidance to customers. Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for new and existing clients. Strategic Planning & Reporting: Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets within the territory. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights using CRM systems. Market Awareness & Feedback: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies. Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to support future product development and innovation. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in biomedical sciences (microbiology, clinical science, or a related field). 1-2 years of sales experience in the life sciences or diagnostics industry is preferred but not essential. Strong candidates with a solid clinical microbiology background and a desire to transition into sales will also be considered. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.What's on Offer: Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 base salary (depending on experience).
