Community Psychiatric Nurse – Birmingham (Ongoing Opportunity) Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with experience in the community, looking for your next exciting challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for you! Key Role Details: Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – CAMHS Band: 6 Location: Birmingham Duration: 3 months (with the potential for extension) Schedule: Full-time, long days Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £26 per hour A Day in the Life of a Community RMN: As a community-focused mental health nurse, you'll play a critical role in supporting the well-being and recovery of your patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Home Visits: Providing regular check-ins with patients to ensure their needs are being met. Medication Administration: Delivering medications at prescribed times to support treatment plans. Patient Support: Building meaningful conversations with patients to fully understand their mental health needs, while tracking their progress and any changes in their condition. Risk Assessments: Conducting thorough evaluations to ensure patient safety and prevent harm to themselves or others, creating a secure environment during their care. What We’re Looking For: To succeed in this role, you’ll need: An active NMC registration as a mental health nurse. Proven experience working within the community. Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Independence when needed, but also a team player when the situation calls for it.
